NORMAN SHEALY 
is a neurosurgeon. He is the founding president of the American Holistic Medical Association, and former president of Holos University Graduate Seminary, offering doctoral programs in energy medicine. His current research emphasizes the potential for using spirituality to reverse DNA damage. Dr. Shealy holds nine patents for innovative discoveries. DAWSON CHURCH 
has edited or authored many books including the new classic on epigenetics, The Genie in Your Genes. He has collaborated on pieces of writing with many of the leading voices of our time, including Larry Dossey, Bernie Siegel, Caroline Myss, Jeanne Achterberg, Neale Donald Walsch, Gay Hendricks, Joan Borysenko, Mary Catherine Bateson, Andrew Harvey, Huston Smith, Barry Sears, and John Gray. His anthology The Heart of the Healer (Penguin, 1988), was one of the key books to spark the debate on mind-body medicine; his latest anthology Healing the Heart of the World explores the links between planetary and personal wholeness. He is the director of Soul Medicine Institute, which studies the effects of Energy Psychology on health and sports performance.
